Established in 1830 by the Heath family… hence Heath Street. The Heath’s & a herd of deer were the first tow call this area home. Annexed to the city in 1908. Today this hood is on the steps of Upper Canada College with beautiful homes & a thriving family area.

Average house prices range from about $550,000 and up. Early 1900’s duplexes of about 1200 ft. per unit fetch in the $700,000 to $900,00 range. Larger detached single family homes sell for more than $1 million.

A detached 1300 ft. home currently sells for about $550k to as high as $900k with an addition. A recent sale on Duggan for a 3 storey was $1.4 million, with big grand original condition homes on Oriole fetch over a million.

New semi-detached townhomes on streets such aas Lonsdale can cost $1.9 million & there are currently 3, 5000 sq. ft. 4 bed brownstone freehold terraced towns available on Heath St. for $3.1 million each.

Demographics: Bay street types and others in there 40’s looking to be near prestigious schools for their kids, Forest Hill empty nesters downsizing into townhomes.
